What's New at Alexandria Field
May 21-22, 2013: Alexandria Field hosted the Take Flight @ Rutgers Leadership Workshop for female STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) faculty.

April 19, 2013: Alexandria Field's Aviation Education Science Camp was featured in an article in the April 5, 2013 issue of General Aviation News.

September 15, 2012: Bill's DVRHS Class Reunion, classmates visited N85 and some even booked to Skydive.
August 1, 2012: Alexandria Field was invited to the "Dream & Soar" event at the Cradle of Aviation
museum by the Northeast Region FAA Office in recognition of the educational
work being done at Alexandria Field.

June 8, 2012: We are busy getting ready for the "Cleared for Takeoff" Aviation Science
Camp this week (July 9-13). Here is a shot of John Weigele testing out a new experiment for this year
...a solar balloon! It is used to demonstration how hot air is less dense than cooler air.
Just like a regular hot air balloon but powered by the sun!

May, 2012: The classroom addition is complete and ready for camp, tours, and
other great airport event!
April, 2012: Our classroom renovation is continuing at GREAT progress! Stay tuned for pictures
of the completed classroom.

Jack Culberston flew into N85 with his Piper Mirage and took his daughter to a local camp with our courtesy car and donated the first $20 to the Aviation Science Club.
