History of the Courtesy Car
"Pilots Opening Doors to the Next Generation of Students in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math"
In 2010, Alexandria Field was awarded the Garrett A. Morgan Technology and Transportation Program (GAMTTEP)grant by the DOT. One of the programs that was established within the grant is an aviation science club. The club is used to stimulate the minds of the youth to explore more into the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM).
Muller Hyundai generously provided the Hyunda Sonnata Hybrid and with
the help of Warren Moser (Owner: Mighty Monkey Media, LLC.) we were able to "wrap" the car with vinyl decals.
The GAMTTEP grant has provided funding to the club since September of 2010. But once the grant is over that funding will end. That is when the car comes in, you can help sustain the club and keep young kids interested in STEM and aviation.
Following events are from oldest to newest:
June 11, 2011: Unvieling of the Courtesy Car at a club meeting

June 30, 2011: Hunterdon Country Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting

August 14, 2011: Wrapping of the courtesy car with decals provided by Mighty Monkey Media, LLC. Warren Moser taught the students how to wrap a vehicle with vinyl decals.
